Candidates

Candidates

With many years experience and deep domain knowledge,

we are well positioned to help you find that dream job.

Specialisation

The +People model uses specialised recruitment consultants. Our consultants specialise in job families. This way, we fully understand your skills and align them to the best opportunities.

We get engaged in different opportunities within the same job family by being specialised. So, if we are representing you, we can offer you multiple options.

Our consultants know your craft, so we can highlight your relevant skills and experience in the best possible way when representing you.

Good listeners

We are extremely good listeners.

How often have you had a recruiter quiz you on your skills and experience and then send your resume to their client without asking what your motivations and preferences are? That won't happen with us.

We want to ensure we understand what you want (and what you don't want) before we align it with an opportunity.

If you are not happy with any part of our service, tell us, and we'll resolve it instantly.

Support and advice

Ultimately, we want to land you a dream job.

In many cases, this happens, and we are as delighted as the candidate when it does. But there are also times when candidates need support, guidance, advice, and counselling. We are there for those times too.

Some people know what they want and where they want to go. That's great, but not everyone is that clear in their mind. Some people are also curious about the opportunity to move into a different field. We can help you navigate the options and suggest some alternatives.

Representing you

It's essential when applying for an opportunity to be adequately represented. If you or a recruiter are not painting the best picture of your skills and potential, then who is?

We can help represent you in the best light. We don't mean typing a gushy (or worse still, a brief and non-descript, devoid of any substance) summary for the hiring manager. Instead, we are talking about someone prepared to go in to bat for you. Someone with a relationship with the hiring manager will stick their neck out for you and push for an interview.

We will only send someone's resume to a client if we believe we will get an interview.

In most cases, clients set recruitment budgets before the process starts. But if your expectations are higher than the budget and we think it's a realistic call, we'll push for it with our client, as long as that's clear before the process starts.

Long-lasting relationships

From the outset, when working with candidates to land that dream job, we want to create a long-lasting relationship.

Our values of respect and integrity lay the foundations for this, and trust gained throughout the process creates a positive relationship between candidate and consultant that grows over time.

Once you get the job, that shouldn't be the end of our relationship. We want to stay in touch, hear how you are doing and maybe find another excellent opportunity for you later in your career.

So it's not surprising that many candidates we have worked with over the years have long-lasting relationships with our consultants and the broader team.

Connecting with people is a big part and easily the most enjoyable part of our job. It's what we love to do.
